This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 23d Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein. Moody AFB is requesting quotes from sources capable of providing custom consoles to upgrade the Alternate Control Tower. Firms that respond shall provide clear evidence that they can meet or exceed the specifications. 1) Recessed, acrylic inlay protects quick-reference tool interface between Controller and console. 2) Dimmable, blue toe-kick lighting for minimum lighting, and glare mitigation during night or night vision device operations. 3) Lift off hoods and removable leg supports (leaving worksurface intact) to provide full and open access to power outlets, ground bars, cable trays and CPU area. 4) “L” shaped frame to allow cables to be directly laid into the cable trays and not require passing through end frame openings. 5) Specialty, heavy duty mounts to provide extreme monitor stability up to 60 lbs.
