GENERAL STATEMENT: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 23d Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein. REQUIREMENT: Moody Air Force Base is looking to acquire 15 MANET Mesh Network Radios for ACE Operations. This is a brand-name or equal requirement to Thales Self Meshing AN/PRC-170 Javelin Radio Network. Technical Specifications: Must operate on a MANET (Mobile Ad-Hoc Network) framework: collection of mobile nodes connected wirelessly in a self-configured, self-healing network without having fixed infrastructure. They must be able to act as both routers and hosts in an ad-hoc configuration that relays information from node-to-node to provide adequate network information. Must operate on TSM/Trellisware waveform to be compatible with DoD and NATO partners for joint operations. Must be enabled with AES-256 encryption. Must be mobile, on removable/rechargable battery system. Chargers for the system must be able to operate on both 110/220v systems (Worldwide Capable). Must be compliant with the Universal Battery Charger (UBC) family of tactical chargers. Must be capable of L-UHF (225-450 MHz), U-UHF (698-970 MHz), and L/S (1250-2600 MHz) band capable for signal penetration in diverse environments. Must have multi-band capability, for anti-jamming redundancy. Must be capable of being programed by 23d WG personnel in a deployed setting. Must be able to honor lifetime warranty to include complete replacement of unit. Must include batteries, adapters, cables, and mics in the quote. Please include warranty information, delivery information and any discounts in the quote. Brand name or equal, equal items identified should furnish adequate information with the quote to ensure that a determination can be made as to the equality of the products requested. “Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort.
