GENERAL STATEMENT: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 23d Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein. REQUIREMENT: Moody Air Force Base is looking to acquire an an amphibious all terrain vehicle (ATV). This is a brand name or equal requirement to the Argo Aurora 950 Huntmaster. Any quoted ATV must: - Be a camouflaged, multi-wheeled vehicle capable of carrying at least 6 members on land and 4 in open water. - Travel at least 25 mph on land and 3 mph on water. - Carry up to 950 pounds on land and 750 pounds on water. - Have a rack to stow gear - Have a 3000 pound winch to self-recover in the event it gets stuck with a brush guard to mitigate damage and to mount the winch. - Engine must be electronically fuel injected as a carbureted engine requires additional maintenance and upkeep. - Have an integrated bilge pump to evacuate water from the hull to negate sinking.
