SOURCES SOUGHT Moody AFB is seeking capabilities packages of potential sources that are capable of providing and installing the items detailed on the attached Statement of Work. Firms that respond shall provide clear evidence that they can meet or exceed the specifications. The 23d Security Forces Squadron is mandated to choose Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) from the Configuration Management Database (CMD) provided by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC). From the list, 23 SFS is seeking the supply and install of 20 Bosch MIC IP Fusion 9000i (Model: MIC-9502-Z30WVF). Furthermore, all the cameras need to be powered and able to transmit data via Ethernet connections; a new Video Management System (VMS) needs to be provided, also matching the approved AFLCMC list; and new surveillance workstations (servers and monitors) need to be supplied and set-up. This specific Sources Sought seeks capabilities from Small Businesses. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DoD contract. All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capability to provide the items to the Primary Point of Contact listed below. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation (Request for Quotes) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion and this Sources Sought will be properly amended to notify the vendors as such. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any Government assessments. CAPABILITIES PACKAGE: All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates their capability to provide the required commodities. The capabilities package should be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. SITE VISIT: A site visit is tentatively scheduled for: AUGUST 10, 2022 - 9:00 Vendors shall meet at the 23d Contracting Squadron. Vendors will then walk/drive to the actual site of contract performance. Vendors are encouraged to inspect the site in order to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance to the extent that information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Those wishing to participate in the site visit shall provide all information specified in the attached Base Access Procedures.
