This is a Sources Sought (SS) announcement, seeking small business responses in order to identify interested parties for potential participation in the acquisition. It is expected that the solicitation will be a set aside for HUBZone or 8(a) small businesses, therefore, these concerns are being sought as sources for consideration regarding the forthcoming solicitation. The 23d Contracting Squadron/PKB plans to establish a firm-fixed price contract to provide all non-personal services, to include all personnel,equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed at Moody Air Force Base (AFB) and Grassy Pond Recreational Annex in a manner that will promote the growth of healthy grass, trees,shrubs, plants and associated landscaping to present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. For additional information,see attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). The designated NAICS code is 561730 HOUSEKEEPING- LANDSCAPING/GROUNDSKEEPING, with a size standard of $8 million. Performance is to begin on 01 October 2022 with a twelve (12) months base and four (4) one (1) year options. The Federal Supply Classification code is S208. The solicitation number for this acquisition has not been determined; when posted, it will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Your response shall reference this Sources Sought (SS) by referring to the "FY23 Grounds Mx, start date 1 Oct 2022" and shall include the following information: • Business size and any/all socio-economic category(ies) Business name • CAGE code • Point of contact name, email address, telephone and fax numbers • Percentage of work your company is able to perform for these services in the socio-economic categories identified. Would your company team with another small business in order to meet the applicable subcontracting limitations of your socio-economic categories as outlined in FAR 52.219-3, 52.219-14, 52.219-27, 52.219-29, and/or 52.219-30, as appropriate?
