Moody Air Force Base, GA. intends to issue a solicitation for non-personal services for all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed at Moody Air Force Base (MAFB) and Grassy Pond Recreational Annex in a manner that will maintain healthy grass, shrubs, trees and associated landscaping resulting in a professional appearance. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this synopsis. The selected/awarded Contractor shall: Provide all services for maintaining Moody AFB grounds in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The contractor shall provide continuous, efficient, and cost effective service. The contractor shall provide or be responsible for having personnel with proper certification, qualifications, and licenses. The contractor shall maintain facilities in a neat, clean, and orderly condition at all times. The contractor is encouraged and expected to use innovative approaches to efficiently and effectively accomplish requirements in a timely manner in a way that fosters pride and ownership in the work performed. Please see attached draft PWS for more specification of the work to be performed. The solicitation number for this acquisition is FA4830-20-R-0004; it will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation will be set aside for 8(a) concerns with $8 million Small Business Size Standard. The solicitation will be issued on or about 10 February 2020. Performance is to begin on 01 October 2020 with a base year and four (4) option years. The primary North American Industry Classification System code is 561730.
