This is a Brand Name or Equal solicitation issued in accordance with FAR 11.104 and FAR 11.105. The United States Air Force is seeking to procure a floating docking system brand name Jet Dock, or equal, to support small boat launch and recovery operations for watercraft used in support of base operations and training. All quotes received by the date of close specified herein will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The brand name product described herein establishes the standard of quality, performance, and characteristics. Offerors may propose products that are equal in all material respects to the Jet Dock system identified within the attached Salient Characteristics. This requirement is not yet funded and subject to the availability of funds. IAW FAR 52.212-1(c) Period for acceptance of offerors, this solicitation requests valid quotes until September 30, 2025. Interested parties may identify their interest and may submit a quote by 2:00 PM CST, June 17, 2025, which shall be considered by the Government. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items (supply) prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses in effect are IAW FAR, DFAR, AFFARS and all other related guidance. The solicitation number is FA481925Q0017 This acquisition is a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413, Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing and a Product Service Code (PSC) 1710. The 2025 Small Business Size Standard is 1250 Employees. Offers (Quotes) received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated IAW the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) pursuant to FAR Part 13 in the Combo- FA481925Q0017 attachment. The Contractor shall provide 40 Heavy Weight Fairlead Beam Assemblies. Questions and Government Response: All questions concerning this solicitation must be submitted no later than 1:00 P.M. CST, April 18, 2025. Further instructions can be found in the addendum to FAR 52.212-1 in the attached combo. The heavy weight fairlead beam assembly is an integral part of the Aircraft Arresting System (AAS). The fairlead beam directs the purchase tape path, and are installed on the runway shoulder to remove the energy absorber outside the mandatory zone of frangibility away from the runway centerline.The contractor shall furnish all required parts, equipment, material and labor in accordance with in accordance with all applicable codes, specifications, and industry/federal standards to Civil Engineer Maintenance Inspection Repair Team (CEMIRT) at Tyndall AFB, FL. Any company/product provider that is chosen have or obtain First Article Testing (FAT) approval for this part.
