This is a potential requirement for fiber optic cable installment services with items and equipment being purchased in addition to the service. Please include past performance and information for any contracts/BPAs on GSA 2GIT, DoD ESI, and/or NASA SEWP. All sources sought information is due 28 Nov 23 by 08:30 AM CST. All permits are required to be obtained prior to any work starts. A warranty of one year or a commercial warranty as well as weekly meetings are also required. Potential requirement to support the installation of the 96-strand, the Contractor shall install approximately 730 feet of three 3X3" (Total of 9) Geo-textile fabrics, and 100 feet of innerduct. The Contractor shall pump out water as required. Water shall be drained IAW BCE and base environmental requirements. All fiber splicing shall be performed in accordance with RUS Bulletin 1735F-401, Standards for Splicing Copper and Fiber Cable. The fusion splice method shall be used for all splicing and terminations of fiber optic cable. Fiber optic cables shall be terminated via fusion splice to pigtails with LC connectors. Cable racks shall be installed in maintenance holes and hand holes. Splices shall not be supported by the cables that enter each end of the splice case. The splices shall be supported by cable hooks under the splice case. Telecommunications industry standard cable hooks of the appropriate length shall be provided to support cables and splice cases.
