************ The purpose of this amendment is to extend the date quotes are due by 4 days, from 22 Mar to 26 Mar 24. ************* The purpose of this amendment is to update the questions and answers file which has two additional posed questions by interested parties and the answers given by the technical expert for those questions. If submitting a quote, please acknowledge this change via email or a mention of acknowledgement in the quote. If submitting a quote, please acknowledge this change via email or a mention of acknowledgement in the quote. ************** Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. This requirement is for shower trailer rental. Please read everything including the description thoroughly before sending in a quote. Evaluation details are noted in FAR 52.212-2 below. Questions are due no later than 18 Mar 24 at 08:30 AM CST. Quotes are due no late than 22 Mar 24 at 03:30 AM CST. 52.212-2 Evaluation—Commercial Products and Commercial Services (Nov 2021) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price will be the main factor in evaluating quotes but past performance may also be considered as a demonstration of the offerer's ability to provide the service. Technical and past performance, when combined, are second to price if considered. (b) Options. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). (c) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer’s specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
