This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items (supply) prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses in effect are IAW FAR, DFAR, AFFARS and all other related guidance. The solicitation number is FA481923QA092 This acquisition is a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333924, Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals and a Product Service Code (PSC) 3990. The 2023 Small Business Size Standard is 900 Employees. Offers (Quotes) received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated IAW FAR 52.212-2(a) using the following factor(s) to determine best value: PRICE. Please note the following: 1) Pricing submitted in response to this RFQ shall remain in effect until October 30, 2023; 2) Contractors interested in submitting an offer (Quote) must acknowledge the requirement that prospective awardees shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of a contract agreement, IAW FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management. Also, IAW FAR 52.204-13, System for Award Management Maintenance; a contractor is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data within the SAM database and is required to review and update their SAM registration on an annual basis. Tyndall AFB - 325 MUNS/MXW has requested two (2) Cart movers that will be used to move up to 15,000 lbs. indoors in extremely tight areas that are 5x13 ft or potentially smaller and move munition loaded trailers up inclines. Movers will need to perform on asphalt and smooth concrete. The size of the mover will need to be as small as possible and capable of refined movement. Movers will be needed year-round as the maintenance schedule dictates to move stacks of trailers and to move munitions loaded trailers when dealing with elevated buildings. Electric movers can be used around munitions and do not pose a risk to personnel/assets. Can not be operated by a "driver" that sits due to lost maneuverability and size constraints.
