This Justification and Approval (J&A) is for a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Alutiiq Commercial Enterprises LLC to ensure the continuation of mission essential Base Operations Support (BOS) services at Tyndall AFB, FL until the current follow-on competitive procurement under solicitation FA481922R0014 is awarded. The period of performance for this bridge contract is for 6 months from 14 May 2023 through 13 Nov 2023. The Tyndall AFB BOS services require that the contractor shall provide all necessary management personnel, labor, tools, training, and materials as necessary to provide engineering support; infrastructure systems; heavy repair; and facility systems operations and sustainment for all real property and real property installed equipment at Tyndall AFB, FL in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall ensure that employees possess all necessary qualifications to perform engineering services and support to analyze, plan and document current and long-term sustainment of Real Property (RP) and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) in accordance with the PWS.
