It does not constitute a synopsis or solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for contract award. When the solicitation is issued, it will be announced on https://sam.gov/ website and all interested parties shall obtain the solicitation from this website. The 325th Contracting Squadron (325 CONS) at Tyndall AFB, FL is seeking potential sources for a firm fixed price contract for delivery and possible installation of STC-50 & STC-45 secure area doors. The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment, appliances, materials, and performing all work in connection with delivery and possible installation. STC certified doors shall have the following criteria to be considered. However, if a like item is supplied, it will still be required to meet the STC rating or above. Criteria and information requested: Must meet 170 mph wind loads for exterior doors How many does your company have in stock at any given time? How quickly can your company produce the doors? Has your company’s doors been previously certified by any DoD agency? If so, how and by which agency? Can the Government buy direct or must it go through a distributor? If by distributor provide a list of distributors and their contact information. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified and interested sources with experience relative to NAICS Code 238290 with a size standard of $39.5M. 325 CONS is requesting all interested and qualified firms respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: (1) name, address, phone, fax, e-mail, and website if applicable; (2) any information regarding door capability. Potential vendors should submit this information to SSgt Mckenze J. Childress mckenze.childress@us.af.mil no later than 15 March 2022 2:00 PM Central Standard Time. The solicitation package and any amendments will only be available electronically to FedBizOpps. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed. If a solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the interested parties to review the website for updates/amendments. The closing date for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package. Contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7007 Alternate A in order to receive award. SAM can be obtained at www.sam.gov.
