Q: Will there be a site visit scheduled? A: A general site visit is not planned for the establishment of this BPA as the map outlines the general scope. However once a BPA is established, site visits may be held at the order level by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) at the time a specific tree removal requirement is identified to clarify the scope of each specific order. 2. Q: Is this a brand new requirement? A: There is currently no contract/contractor in place for this requirement. ________________________________________________________________ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Submission of quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to offerors, commercial items and the addendum. The solicitation will be evaluated and awarded per the prescribed procedures of FAR Part 13 as a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The contractor shall cut down and occasionally remove and dispose of trees and stumps from Tyndall AFB utilizing appropriate equipment and vehicles in accordance with this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).
