NOTICE TO ALL POTENTIAL QUOTERS: 31 May 2022: Solicitation Amendment 0001 was issued on 31 May 2022 and the answers to the questions received have been posted. The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate the following changes: 1. Update the Performance Work Statement due to the Q&As. 2. Update contract clauses to replace 252.225-7001 Buy American and Balance of Payments Program with 252.225-7036 Buy American--Free Trade Agreements--Balance of Payments Program--Alternate I. 3. All other terms and conditions remain the same. Please see the SF 30 in attachments for complete details. Responses to all questions received are also posted in the attachments under the file name "FA481922Q0025 QAs". All duplicated questions were consolidated and answered only once. ________________________________________________________________ This is the official solicitation for Caterpillar Generators (2) - Air to Electric Starter Conversion. The contractor will provide all labor, qualified personnel, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, software, replacement parts, supplies, supervision and any other items and services necessary to accomplish the installation and services as required for the conversion from air start to electric start on two (2) Caterpillar generators. Each generator shall be retrofitted with a new electric starting system and sub components required for a fully functioning conversion from air start to electric start, all inclusive. Each Caterpillar engine requires two starters, totaling four starting systems for both engines. All services shall be performed in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (Attachment 1. Generator Conversion - PWS 18 May).
