This is a sources sought synopsis. The 325th CONS at Tyndall Air Force Base, FL is conducting market research and seeking interested vendors for a follow-on contract for AFCEC Vehicle/Equipment Maintenance and Operations Support Services. The Air Force Civil Engineer Center, vehicle fleet, supports all services necessary to ensure vehicle maintenance, vehicle fleet management and vehicle operation functions are performed for AFCEC. Necessary functions include vehicle/equipment maintenance, vehicle fleet management and vehicle operations for the vehicle fleet and equipment; and heavy equipment operations; Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) project support; and Airfield Pavement Evaluation team support both at Tyndall Air Force Base (TAFB) and off-site. The Vehicle/Equipment Maintenance and Operations Support (VEMOS) contractor shall perform management and administrative functions for maintaining the special/general purpose vehicle fleet, organizational equipment (including X-Registration vehicles), shop equipment, and vehicle maintenance buildings. Modify vehicles and/or associated equipment as required to meet mission requirements of AFCEC. The 325th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a formal solicitation on or about October 2022 via SAM.gov (https://sam.gov/) as an 8(a) Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR 19.8. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811111, General Automotive Repair will apply to this acquisition. The size standard for this NAICS code is $8.0M. Prospective contractors who are interested in the AFCEC Vehicle/Equipment Maintenance and Operations Support Services contract are requested to provide a capability statement to include information on the types and quantities of vehicles and equipment maintained, extent of experience in Research, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) project support, and extent of management and administrative functions related to on-site vehicle maintenance. Prospective contractors are requested to include in their capability statement their 8(a) entrance and exit date and any other small business classifications/certifications to Ms. Nell Matchkus at nell.matchkus@us.af.mil and Contracting Officer Mr. James S.
