Tyndall AFB Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) Range and Operations Support (RAOS) This is NOT a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5.This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for contract award. The 325 Contracting Squadron (325 CONS) at Tyndall AFB, FL is seeking potential sources for Range and Operations Support (RAOS). This requirement requires skilled technicians (Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician, Video-Photography Technician, Range Instrumentation Technician, Test Facility Fire Technician, Electronic Technician, Range Engineer) to provide technical services and labor support necessary to maintain the Materials Testing Systems (MTS) laboratory, In-Door Ballistic range and other test ranges and operational capability of AFCEC/CXA at Tyndall Air Force Base (TAFB), FL, provide test support on-site at specified off-site ranges such as Utah Test & Training Range (UTTR) and provide other operations support services. The Contractor will perform all work in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), all applicable laws, regulations, Headquarters Air Force standards, instructions, and commercial practices. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified and interested 8(a) sources with experience relative to NAICS Code 561210 with a size standard of $41.5M. The basic contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. Period of performance is expected to be a 10 month base year with 4 one year option periods. Additionally, a 6 month option extension will be included in the requirement. This requirement is currently being fulfilled under contract FA481917C5002 awarded to Syscom, Inc. The Independent Government Estimate will be over the competitive 8(a) threshold IAW FAR 19.805-1. The Government will not award a contract solely on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice, nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. The list of relevant contracts should include the location, contract number, description, estimated yearly value, performance dates, and Government point(s) of contact (contracting officer and QAE/inspector) with phone and fax numbers.
