This is the official solicitation synopsis for Low Observable (LO) Paint Booth Facility Maintenance at Tyndall Air Force Base, FL. The contractor shall provide all management, labor, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to perform scheduled, recurring preventative maintenance and inspection (PMI) services for two (2) aircraft paint booths and their related systems in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended preventative maintenance schedule. The contractor shall perform unscheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on malfunctioning paint booth equipment as necessary in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The 325th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a formal solicitation on or about 07 July 2021 via SAM.gov (https://sam.gov/) under the solicitation number FA481921R0029. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed priced contract with a one (1) year base period and four (4) twelve month option periods. This requirement is being solicited as a Total Small Business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment will apply to this acquisition. The size standard for this NAICS code is $8M. The contract award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. All instructions for submitting proposals will be provided in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on SAM.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of this document and subsequent amendments. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered and marked active in the System for Award Management (SAM). If necessary, register via the SAM website www.sam.gov.
