Offerors are hereby notified that the Request for Quotation (RFQ) Custom Communications Furniture, requirement FA481921QA044, has been posted. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. FA481921QA044 shall be used to reference any written responses to this Solicitation. Tyndall Air Force Base anticipates a requirement that is being considered under a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed 337211. The size standard for this proposed NAICS is 1,000 employees. A site visit has been established for 19 August 2021 at 1400 CST. Any vendors interested in attending the site visit will need to send the below information in to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist no later than 16 Aug 2021 by 1500 CST. a. Proof of Auto Insurance Due to COVID-19 concerns, the number of individuals shall be limited to two (2) representatives per vendor and the representative shall wear PPE (facemask) during the duration of the site visit. Social distancing (6 feet apart) will also be observed. Description: The 601 AOC has a need for custom communications console workstations for the AOC Situation Room. The contractor shall provide forty-three (43) custom communications (comm) console workstations with brand name or equal laminate material. Equal items identified shall furnish adequate information and engineering drawing with the quote to ensure a determination can be made as to the equality of the requested items. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or SDVOSB, WOSB, EDWOSB, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities-indicating examples of commercial sales-and product specifications related to this effort. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated us of foreign national employees on this effort.
