Work consists of a effo... This is the official solicitation synopsis for the Restore Crooked Island Access contract at Tyndall Air Force Base, FL. This will be a single award, firm-fixed price contract. Work consists of a effort to restore the access roads and parking area going to Crooked Island Beach. A large portion of Crooked Island Beach Road was washed away due to Hurricane Michael. There is now a standing pond/lake covering a large portion of the road. This has lead to dangerous conditions for any personnel who attempt to utilize the road. Restoring the road will allow for safe usage of the road. The pond currently occupying part of the road will be filled in a way so as to not washout again and to provide a level surface to re-establish the road.
