Single Source Solicitation for Contract Award The 325th Contracting Squadron located at Tyndall AFB, Florida 32403 is issuing this solicitation to award a firm-fixed price, single source contract to Mid-Atlantic Broadband (MABB) for the relocation and replacement of service provider owned, installed, and maintained telecommunications equipment. This purchase is for a commercial item/service and will be made using FAR 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures at FAR 13. This intended Single Source aquisition is being solicited as authorized pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This solicitation is NOT a request for competitive quotes. However, interested contractors may submit a narrative describing their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort via e-mail to MSgt Zachery Pullen, Deputy Flight Chief, zachery.pullen@us.af.mil and Contracting Officer, Matthew Lahr at matthew.lahr.3@us.af.mil no later than 1:00 PM CST 12 June 2020. Capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
