Combined Synopsis/Solicitation FA4819-19-R-A021 Fire Suppression Requirement For Tyndall AFB, FL (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. (ii) The solicitation number is FA4819-19-R-A021 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This acquisition will utilize simplified procedures IAW FAR Part 13. (iii) The synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-5, effective 13 Aug 2019. (iv) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 and the size standard is $7.5M. This acquisition is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which if received timely, will be considered. (v) Offerors shall use Atch 1, Pricing Schedule, which includes all contract line item numbers, quantities and units of issue, to fill in all unit prices and total amount blocks, for the base period and all option periods. Required periods of performance: Base Period: 1 October 2019 - 30 September 2020 1st Option Period: 1 October 2020 - 30 September 2021 2nd Option Period: 1 October 2021 - 30 September 2022 3rd Option Period: 1 October 2022 - 30 September 2023 4th Option Period: 1 October 2023 - 30 September 2024 (vi) The contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and all other items necessary to perform all operations in connection with the inspection, testing, recharging, and maintenance of installed wet chemical fire extinguishing systems and Halon fire extinguishing systems (Halon 150lb) IAW Atch 2, Performance Work Statement (PWS). (vii) Place of performance and acceptance is Tyndall AFB, FL. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. In accordance with FAR 52.212-2(a), the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
