Request for Information (RFI): This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The 325th Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors to provide service to our Magnet Resonance Imaging System. This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code: 811219 [Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance]. This sources sought notice shall not be construed as a synopsis, formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Any information provided to the Government is strictly voluntary and at no cost to the Government. We are requesting all interested and qualified firms to respond to this source sought notice with the following information: Capabilities Statement that includes name, address, phone, fax, email and website if applicable. Please note companies must be registered under the above NAICS code via the System for Award Management (SAM.GOV) website. This information must be emailed to the attention of Yvette Kelly at yvette.kelly@us.af.mil by 10:00 am (CST) 27 February 2019. Any resultant contract will be a firm fixed price service order. Background of Requirement: On 10 October 2018, Tyndall AFB was affected by Hurricane Michael resulting in major damages to the Medical Clinic. Due to intermediate power, the Magnet Resonance Imaging System was purged of helium to avert the possibility of the helium boiling and exploding due to upregulation. The MRI is now idle and needs to be brought back up to a complete operational status. MRI Machine: Toshiba VANTAGE TITAN Model # MRT-1510 Description of Requirement: Request reboot service, repair and calibration for Scanning System, Magnet Resonance Imaging manufactured by Toshiba American Inc., serial number 2AC1632017. The contractor shall ramp, cool down, and calibrated the MRI. Provide necessary equipment to include nitrogen, helium, ultra pure helium gas, and nitrogen gas. In addition to ensuring, the system is in good operating condition, meeting all equipment and performance requirements published by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
