The contractor shall furnish manufacturer qualified personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, other items and services necessary to remove existing twin Mercury 300hp outboard engine setups... The contractor shall furnish manufacturer qualified personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, other items and services necessary to remove existing twin Mercury 300hp outboard engine setups and Smartcraft units on two 27’ WAC SAFE Boat vessels hull numbers 2186 and 2187. Replace with new 30” LH & RH rotation 300 horse power twin outboard engine setups and CL7 Display units per vessel to display engine operation parameters (volts, oil pressure, engine temp, etc.). Work includes de-rigging the boats of current Mercury outboard engines and associated Mercury equipment as well as installed equipment that cannot be utilized with the new install. Rig the boat with new outboard engines and associated outboard engine equipment to manufacturer’s specifications so as not to void any and all warranties and Power Matched warranty all associated installed equipment that is in line with the installed new engines for 3 years. It will be the contractor’s responsibility to install the proper stainless propellers for optimum hole-shoot and top end speed. It will be the contractor’s responsibility to negotiate proprietary and sub contract issues with the manufacturers of equipment used on MacDill AFB and covered by this contract.
