Description of Services: The contractor shall provide 12,000 linear feet of interlocking crowd control steel barricade fencing (aka “French Barricade” or “Bike Fence” – typically 43” high) - flat foot preferred - for MacDill AFB presents Tampa Bay AirFest 2022. MacDill AFB will unload/load contractor delivery with a forklift as required. No labor is required for set-up or takedown for this event. Contractor will deliver all fencing on or before 22 March 2022 and pick-up all fencing on or after 28 March 2022. MacDill will provide storage for up to 5 days prior and after the specified dates with prior verbal coordination. 2. Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Services: MacDill AFB will provide forklift support for delivery and pick-up of steel barricade fencing from contractor’s delivery vehicle. 3. Security Requirements. All personnel employed by the contractor in the performance of this contract or any representative of the contractor entering the government installation, will be required to furnish requested personal information for a security background check and shall abide by all security regulations of the installation. 4. Base Access. The contractor and all employees will be escorted onto MacDill AFB from Tanker Way Gate to the site location as required. Contractor’s vehicle registration, proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license must be presented for all vehicles entering MacDill. 5. Terms & Conditions. Advance payment is not authorized, nor will the Government pay a deposit. This agreement is in full force rain or shine. 6. Cancellation: The government reserves the right to cancel this contract due to COVID-19 up to one week prior to the air show. The contractor shall not incur any costs for the contract prior to performance and/or delivery unless previously agreed upon by the government in writing.

The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB issues this sources sought synopsis for information only to locate sources who are capable of fulfilling the following requirement: The 6th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) is seeking the rental of 12,000 linear feet of interlocking crowd control steel barricade fencing (aka “French Barricade” or “Bike Fence” – typically 43” high) - flat foot preferred - for MacDill AFB presents Tampa Bay AirFest 2022. This sources sought is an advance notice for information for planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 532310 and size standard is $8M unless otherwise noted. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database via www.sam.gov. Prime contractors, must be US-owned entities, who intend to submit a proposal for this solicitation. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities, and qualifications to perform the effort in writing, including their DUNS number and Cage Code, to the identified point of contact not later than 10:00 AM EST on 8 Feb 2022. Such capabilities/ qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information, a detailed capabilities statement stating their experience in providing the same or similar work described in this notice, a point of contact with phone and e-mail information, business status (Socio-Economic Factors: 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business), business size based on NAICS 532310, and a positive statement of interest to submit a proposal.
