The Department of the Air Force 6th Contracting Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base, FL, is issuing a request for proposal (RFP) for Base Operating Support (BOS) services for Avon Park Air Force Range, Avon Park, FL. The work will support the 598th Range Squadron, which is located at Avon Park Air Force Range; approximately 90 miles East/Southeast of Tampa, Florida. The property consists of 106,000 acres and is collocated with Avon Park Correctional Institute. The range consists of a main cantonment area and five air to ground target complexes that provide DoD and Allied operators a full spectrum training facility focused on air-ground operations. The Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 10:00 am EDT. Contractors will meet at building 26 at Avon Park Air Force Range Florida, 33825. All prospective offerors are highly encouraged to attend this conference. Prospective offerors are limited to 2 attendees. A portion of the pre-performance conference will include a site visit over semi-improved roads (shell/dirt) to view range infrastructure. Your vehicle should accommodate this type of terrain. In order to make the conference as productive as possible, offerors should submit, no later than 3 days before the conference, RSVP information for attendees to cory.poff.3@us.af.mil and christopher.tuck.3@us.af.mil.
