Sources Sought Solicitation Number: FA481420TF047The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB issues this Sources Sought Synopsis for information only to locate sources who are capable of providing Flooring services on MacDill AFB, FL. This Sources Sought is an advance notice for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 238330 and the size standard is $16.5 Million. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities, and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 2:00 PM E.T. time on 3 April, 2020. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. ORAL communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Attachment 1 (Draft PWS) to this RFI will provide the General Performance Requirements.Attachment 2 (Ordering Guide) provides guidance on the USAF Mandatory source for Carpet related materials. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision-making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Please note: The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this request for information. INFORMATION REQUESTED: (No more than 2 pages) 1.Company Information - Name, Business Address, Point of Contact, Telephone Number, E-mailAddress, Business Size in relation to the NAICS code size standard assigned to this acquisition, Numberof Employees, Number of Years in Business etc., and a positive statement of your intention to submit aproposal for this solicitation as a prime contractor.2.Socio-economic Status and any associated documentation of such status, certification or approvals. Theapplicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238330; FlooringContractors, is applicable to this requirement. The size standard is $16,500,000.3.Sources shall include in their information, a detailed capabilities statement stating their experience inproviding the same or similar work described in this notice4.Company's capabilities in terms of providing all materials, equipment, tools, transportation, labor, andoff base storage as required to perform removal and replacement of carpet, tile and epoxy flooringmaterials for MacDill Air Force Base, to exclude the items required by the mandatory carpet source. Thecontractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all federal, state, local, DoD and AFrules and regulations.
