The services to be rendered for this contract shall consist of the development and implementation of Christian ecumenical youth programs for youth within the MacDill AFB community. The programs shall be ecumenical in nature in that they will promote or represent the whole body of Christian churches. The supported population includes military dependent student’s grades 6-12 that are associated with MacDill AFB, that live either on the base or in adjoining civilian communities. The youth programs must be structured in a way for youth to meet, learn, and grow in religious and ethical values in a constructive community environment, as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This requirement is currently supported by Harrison, Kristopher C. under contract FA481417P0036, which was awarded by 6 CONS/PKA on 30 Jan 2017. Due to the complexity, volume, and dollar value of the new requirement, more time is required to complete the replacement acquisition than is remaining on the existing contract. As a result, the current contract needs to be extended for six months, through 29 Jul 2022, to meet MacDill AFB Chapel needs and avoid service interruption. The extension is within scope of the contract.
