TITLE: Intent to Sole Source: PRC-161 Repair The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to perform a sole source Task Order for PRC-161 Repair This procurement will be for unbricking repairs of 2 BATS-D 1189016 radios, SN 12810, 12841. Such required maintenance is needed for the testers to be fully functional. No authorized resellers or sources for BATS-D 1189016 repairs are known to the Government at this time. APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by AFFARS 5313.501 - 10 U.S.C. 2302b, Implementation of Simplified Acquisition Procedures (41 U.S.C. 1901). Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 28 Aug 2023 at 10:00 A.M EST.
