Description of Process- Nitrogen Generator is used during the buildup process to inflate the tire to optimal operating pressure, there is a technical order requirement to use 99.5% pure nitrogen during inflation. Nitrogen Generator- The nitrogen generator is used in conjunction with an existing air compressor in the buildup process to inflate tires to optimal pressures. The requirement is for a nitrogen generating system that includes all associated generators, analyzers, storage tanks/ fittings, and nitrogen booster with associated supply and discharge tanks. The capability to produce 99.5% purity is a necessity. Air Compressor Details: The air compressors have a capacity of 210 SCFM for AC-101 and 49 SCFM for AC-102, design pressure for both is 125 psi. The Air Compressors AC-101 and AC-102 work together to maintain a pressure between 100-125 psi. AC-101 only comes on if AC-102 can't keep up. This is a whole building air system. The compressors serve 3/4" air drops in the Wheel & Tire Shop.
