Estimated Value - $750,000.00: IDIQ requirements for asphalt and concrete paving capability, with associated utility work, to ensure that Seymour Johnson AFB's single runway and other critical airfield sections remain operational to support the 4th Fighter Wing's training and operational mission as well as the 916th Air Refueling Wing's operational mission. Performance requirements include a collection of detailed construction tasks relating to base/airfield pavements requirements and associated electrical components. The projects will include a variety of tasks to support paving requirements for the base at large and the airfield; tasks may include, but are not limited to, asphalt pavement placement, repair/sealing and/or replacement, concrete pavement repair and/or replacement, curb and gutter repair and/or replacement, clearing and grubbing, excavation, fill, aggregate base course, milling of bituminous pavement, inlets, catch basins, drainage pipe, pavement markings, seeding, trees and shrubs, soil erosion and control, railroad work, airfield, street and area lighting, waterlines and appurtenances, and sewer lines and appurtenances. Requirements are not military unique and can be acquired in the commercial market sector. Critical items which will impact contract performance include acquisition of batch plant, material transportation, and equipment to make, deliver, and install portland cement concrete and asphalt cement concrete within specified time limits.
