Do not submit proposals in reponse to this document. No telephone calls or written requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (AFB), North Carolina, announces the anticipated release of Solicitation Number FA480924Q0102 being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This RFQ is set-aside for Small Business. All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes a pre-solicitation notice. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside IAW qualifying North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 562910. The Small Business Size Standard for NAICS 562910 is under $25,000,000.00. Prior to award, the government will make a determination of whether the proposed price is fair and reasonable, IAW FAR 13.106-3. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This IDIQ contract is for non-personal services, to include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, material, labor, and other items and services necessary to provide asbestos, lead based paint (LBP), heavy metals, animal excretement, mold/mildew and other abatement, sampling, and inspection activities. Upon receipt of a task order, the contractor shall coordinate delivery of services with authorized Government personnel. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Most of the work will be at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (SJAFB), with a small quantity of projects at Blakeslee Air Force Recreation Area (Kure Beach NC) and Dare County Range (Stumpy Point NC). TENTATIVE DATES: RFQ: To be posted on or about 30 August 2024 Award: Award of this contract is anticipated by 27 September 2024. Contract Performance: The period of performance is anticipated to begin on 27 September 2024. COMPLETING CONTRACT PERFORMANCE: THE IDIQ base year will be for a period of twelve (12) months, with four (4) twelve (12)-month option periods and one (1) six (6)-month extension period. the Government reserves the unilateral right to exercise each option period and the extension period. Potential offerors must be registered and active in SAM and possess the identified NAICS to be eligible for award.
