Description This is a Sources Sought Notice and is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). This notice is issued solely for market research and planning purposes to identify potential sources capable of providing the required construction and repair services for the entrance to Building 922 at Shaw Air Force Base. The Government intends to award a construction contract for the repair of the entrance to the Carolina Skies Club (B922) which includes: Demolition of the existing canopy, including all associated elements such as handrails, lighting fixtures, and the sloped metal façade at the entrance. Installation of a new pre-engineered metal canopy with associated foundation work. Construction of an accessibility ramp meeting ASCE 7-10 and Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) standards. Electrical work to include installation of LED lighting and power distribution for the newly designed lighting and canopy system. The scope of work also includes design, engineering, and installation of structural, electrical, and architectural elements.
