Anticipated award to be a Firmed Fixed Price Contract. Subsequent contract is for a base period of six months, four one-year option periods, and an optional six month extension of services with an anticipated start date of April 2024. This will be a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 562111, with a Small Business Size Standard of $47M. This acquisition is a 100% Small Bussines set aside. This requirement will be solicited under FAR Part 12 and Part 13.5 utilizing commercial acquisition procedures. The Solicitation is anticipated to be posted within the next 7 days. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package. DO NOT REQUEST VIA MAIL OR FAX. REQUIREMENT: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform refuse and recycling services at Shaw Air Force Base, Poinsett Range and Wateree Recreation area in Camden SC. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. Additionally the contractor shall provide all logistical services and supplies needed to support Shaw’s participation in a landfill diversion program for organic materials from the Shaw AFB Dining Facility with an option for the Child Development Center. Shaw personnel will utilize this support to redirect organic waste from refuse containers to specialized organic waste carts. The organic waste material will be at least 95% free of plastic and metal contaminants. The segregated organic waste will be processed at a local composting facility instead of being discarded to a landfill.
