FA480319BA003 QUESTIONS_ANSWERS Attachment 14 The government received a question that believes is in the best interest to provide an answer to. As there are still on going issues with Beta SAM and being able to upload documents to it the government has determined to NOT issue a SF 30 for this one question. Please see below for the question and answer. Question: "Question 228 references the restrooms in CLIN 0003. The answer is that the restrooms would locate in the new elevator tower. The plan shows an elevator shaft and a lobby. Where would we put them? With the occupancy load of over 100 people on each floor several fixtures are involved. These will not be small little restrooms. The tower would need to be enlarged to house the restrooms. Would that be a part of this bid or do we leave them on the existing floor area? That is where we have figured them now. Enlarging the three story tower would be a substantial money change." Answer: As this is a design build offerors are encouraged to provide their solutions. The tower could have either a men's or women's and the existing would be the opposite. The existing would be renovated into one bathroom. Drawings are labled concept and the contractor is required to redesign everything. CLIN 0001 will NOT add toilets. CLIN 0003 would have the enlarged tower with toilets. Amendment06 is the latest amendment to Soliciation FA480319BA003. FA480319BA003_AMENDMENT06_SF30 This is the SIXTH AMENDMENT to the 1442 which was issued 4 October 2019. With the migration of FBO to Beta SAM the Government is unable to upload docs to Beta SAM. Therefore, as an interim fix to this issue the Government is requesting offerors to send an email to 20CONS.MACC@us.af.mil with the SUBJECT: Request Documents for Amendment 05 and Amendment 06. The Government will then submit files via DoD SAFE. It is the offeror's responsiblity to follow up with the government if for any reason they are unable to download the docs, or are not in receipt of an email from DoD SAFE providing them with the notification that the documents are available for pick up in DoD SAFE. Attachments associated with Amendment06 are as follows: SF30; which is Amendment06 Attchmt 12_Financial Information Attchmt 13-0 Attchmt 13-16 Warehouse Roof as built Attchmt 13-17 New Roof as built Attchmt 13-18 As built July 2009 Attchmt 14 Questions/Answers Attchmt 15 Site Attendance Just to underscore offerors are required to send an email to the government requesting Amendment05 and Amendment06 attachments be sent to them. See details outlined in paragraph above for step to take to request. FA480319BA003_AMENDMENT05_SF30 This is the FIFTH AMENDMENT to the 1442 which was issued 4 October 2019. We have received multiple calls and emails with concern over the migration from FBO to Beta SAM. Amendment05 is to address these concerns by extending the Bid Due date to 5 December 2019 at 2:00PM ET and Bid Open Date to 6 December 2019 at 2:00PM ET. The government is currently unable to upload any attachments to Beta SAM. Therefore, the SF30 and update to Attachment 13.0 will be uploaded at a later time when the system will allows us to attach documents. FA480319BA003_AMENDMENT04_SF30 This is the FOURTH AMENDMENT to the 1442 which was issued 4 October 2019. The attachments associated with this upload to FBO are as follows: SF30 Attchmt 13-0 TO IFB B216_Amendment03. Please note Government is aware that this Attchmt Amendment is 03 and not 04. This is because not every attchmt is always updated each and every time an Amendment is issued. Therefore, attchmt amendment number and SF 30 amendment number will not match.
