PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is not a request for proposal or invitation for bid. The 20th Contracting Squadron, Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina announces the anticipated release of Solicitation Number FA480320B0001 as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). All applicable provision and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the pre-solicitation notice. This solicitation is being set-aside to Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HubZone) firms; all others will be deemed non responsible. Contract award will be based on Sealed bid - FAR Part 14. In accordance with FAR Part 14.408(a)(3); award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the invitation. Title: Add/Repair Base Infrastructure Project Number: VLSB 15-0007 Place of Performance: Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina Description of work: The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, applicable licenses and permits to accomplish the work designated in the statement of work, drawings and specifications. The general work includes demolition of buildings, slabs, foundations, septic systems, parking lots, fencing trash grate, primary electrical service and power poles, and capping of water wells. The project also consist of the installation of new fencing, vehicle gate, overhead lighting, roadway, and improved driving surface. The contractor shall video all areas in which work shall occur prior to starting work and also perform a destructive asbestos and lead survey in accordance with South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. An archaelogical survey will be conducted and will consist of two (2) Phases as identified in the statement work. NAICS Code: 238910 Size Standard: $16.5M Magnitude of Effort $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00 IFB will be available on or about 22 June 2020 Performance Period: 182 days design, 150 days construction for a total of 332 calendar days. This acquisition is being issued under FAR Part 19.203(c) Hubzone Small Business Set-Aside and solicited via Invitation for Bid.
