The Air Force 49th Civil Engineering Squadron and the 49th Contracting Squadron (49 CONS) are currently seeking sources for a service requirement for Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) (aka Elevators) Maintenance, Repair, and Inspection Services at Holloman AFB, (HAFB) NM. This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict 49 CONS to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by the 49 CONS to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated with VTE maintenance and repair services on HAFB. REQUIREMENT: The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts and labor necessary to maintain, repair, and inspect approximately sixteen (16) real property VTE(s) at HAFB in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation (full maintenance and repair with the exception of certain exclusions e.g. acts of vandalism, alterations not covered in full maintenance arrangement, etc.). This includes all equipment: freight and passenger elevators and may include wheelchair/stair lifts. This full maintenance contract signifies a VTE service provider (Contractor) takes total service responsibility for the equipment identified in the contract. This includes all inspections, maintenance, repairs, replacements, and routine and emergency service calls. The Contractor assumes all responsibility and determines the amount of service visits and types of service required to keep each VTE operating safely. Work conducted on each VTE will be in accordance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) A17.1-2007 (or applicable code for year VTE put in service), Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators (ASME A17.1), ANSI/ASME A17.2-2010, Guide for Inspection of Elevators, Escalators, and Moving Walks (applicable to equipment), A17.3-2011, Safety Code for Existing Elevators and Escalators (applicable to equipment), National Fire Protection Association Standards (NFPA), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-600-01, Fire Protection Engineering for Facilities, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards and the recommendations of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Firms responding to this sources sought notice are also requested to provide the 49 CONS with capability statements, which need to include at a minimum: -Company Name -Point of Contact Name, Title and Number -Registered in System for Award Management -Performed services under NAICS Code: 561790 (yes or no) -Business Status (8(a), Small, Hubzone, Woman-owned, etc.) -Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code -Capabilities statement should be submitted via e-mail to BOTH PoCs listed within this announcement no later than 4:00 p.m. mountain standard time (MST) on Tuesday, 09 April 2019.
