The 28th Contracting Squadron Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota intends to award a sole source contract to Waygate Technologies USA, LP. APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this acquisition is the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement FAR 13.106(b) justifies limiting the source if the contracting officer determines the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The attached sole source justification outlines the Contracting Officers justification and reasoning to award a sole source award to Waygate Technologies USA, LP. This is a Sole Source Justification supporting the acquisition of borescope parts and repair services for Ellsworth AFB, SD. Only one vendor was identified and approved to provide the repair services for the aforesaid unit. See the attached justification document.
