The 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, SD intends to award a sole source contract to Eagle & Myslik Inc. for AirOps Airfield Management Software Suite APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this acquisition is the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement. FAR 13.501(a) justifies limiting the source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The attached sole source justification, outlines the Contracting Officers justification and reasoning to award a sole source award to Eagle & Myslik Inc. doing business as Eagle & Myslik Inc. This is a Sole Source Justification supporting the acquisition of AirOps Airfield Management Software Suite at Ellsworth AFB, SD. Only one vendor was identified and approved to provide propriety software and hardware for the aforesaid unit. See the attached justification document.
