The 9th Contracting Squadron at Beale AFB, CA intends to award a sole-source contract to Curtiss-Wright for its BOSS software suite and Link-16 related products. This system provides a transportable Tactical Data Link simulation, testing, and validation environment that interfaces with the 99th Reconnaissance Squadron's existing Link-16 ground capability. The contract will include software licenses, protocol modules, technical documentation, maintenance, and updates to enable terminal control, simulation, and tactical visualization for JADC2 and Joint/Coalition interoperability. Delivery will be FOB Destination to the 99th Reconnaissance Squadron at Beale AFB, CA, BLDG 1025. The sole-source justification is based on Curtiss-Wright being the proprietary developer and only available source for the required capabilities.
