Please check revised: Attachment 1 - Memorandum for Interested Bidders Attachment 3 - SF114 -------------- B R E A K ------------------ Qualified Recycling Programs (QRP’s) are required to conduct competitive sales of eligible recyclable items when anticipated sales proceeds will exceed $15,000 for each sale. In accordance with AFI 32-7002 Environmental Compliance and Pollution Prevention, QRP’s will: 6.6.3.2. Conduct negotiated sales for any QRP eligible items with anticipated sales proceeds of $15,000 or less and competitive sales that have no monetary limit for each sale. 1. Beale AFB’s QRP has a large, approximately 43,500 lbs. stockpile of scrap insulated copper cables (See Attachment 1). Due to the high value of this recyclable commodity the most beneficial option for Beale AFB is to solicit bids in order to obtain the highest possible sale proceeds through a competitive bid process. 2. The attached Memorandum (Attachment 1) is an invitation to bid issued by Beale AFB’s QRP through 9th Contracting, which outlines the who, what, where and how the bid process will be conducted in accordance with DoD and Air Force regulations. 3. inquiries regarding this Memorandum can be directed to Shane Morris at shane.morris.5@us.af.mil or by phone at 634-0744. 4.
