Dyess AFB intends to replace the long-existing, currently inoperable centrifuge in the waste storage facility building to meet Air Force recycling objectives. The centrifuge separates petroleum oils and fuels from shop utilized absorbent pads reducing purchasing and disposal costs and enabling the recyling of the recovered petroleum.
