The project is to remove and replace six existing window sections, consisting of twelve awning-style windows, at Building 4311, Dyess AFB, with new aluminum fixed-frame stationary window assemblies. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and resources for removal/disposal of existing glass, assemblies, framing, anchors, sealants, and associated materials, as well as complete weather-tight installation including new framing, glazing, anchors, sealants, and flashing. Any CMU repair or replacement needed for proper installation is also in scope. A mandatory government site visit will be held at Building 4311 on Tuesday, 8 September 2026 at 1pm CST, and a pre-proposal site visit with a CE Project Planner is highly recommended. The amendment adds a Q&A attachment and a window replacement drawing with rough opening dimensions.
