Project Title: Airfield Rubber Removal and Repainting Project Location: Dyess AFB, TX 79607 7 CONS is looking to procure construction services to perform rubber removal and repainting for the airstrip at Dyess AFB. Please review all attachments for solicitation This is a total small business set aside. SUBMISSION REQUIRMENTS: Interested vendors must submit a capability statement, technical approach document outlining how all requirements in the SOW will be accomplished, and the pricing breakout form with all information filled out completely. Please see Technical Factors document for detailed instructions on the requirements for the technical approach document listed above. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTATION OR AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF A SOLICITATION. This sources sought request for information is for the purpose of conducting market research to provide data for planning purposes. This sources sought synopsis announcement does not constitute a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid, does not obligate the government to award a contract, issue a solicitation, reimburse respondents for any proposal preparation and/or submittal costs, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. Dyess Air Force Base is looking for the following: Airboss, Announcer, and Audio System in support of the 2025 Dyess Open House. Due to the specialized nature of the duties performed by the Air Boss, a highly trained and proficient individual must be used. The individual will perform a pre-show briefing to all participants covering air operations and performer flight safety briefings. The Air Boss will direct aircraft on the ground during the open house (airshow) while within the boundaries and waivered airspace (ATC may assist, pursuant to local arrangements). The Air Boss will also verify airspace waivered for non-air traffic control agency to take control. The Air Boss will also be briefed and signed off on base disaster response plans prior to the show. The Dyess AFB 2025 Open House will occur during 19-20 April 2025. Please see the attached Statements of Work for what work would need to be performed.
