PAVING SYNOPSIS: The work requirements to be performed by the contractor consists of, but are not limited to, various repairs and/or complete reconstruction of various street and parking lot pavements... PAVING SYNOPSIS: The work requirements to be performed by the contractor consists of, but are not limited to, various repairs and/or complete reconstruction of various street and parking lot pavements at Dyess AFB, Texas. Work will be released to the successful contractor in work packages via individual task orders. The government reserves the right to utilize in-house forces to accomplish work on base street pavements; however, the government guarantees that all task orders for street and parking lot pavement work will be awarded to the contractor, except for those instances where government in-house forces are used. Unit prices will be taken from Base Year (year one) and two (2) Option Years. Work may include but is not necessarily limited to: 1) Portland cement concrete and hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement section replacement, 2) milling of asphalt and installation of asphalt overlays, 3) installation of pavement markings, 4) curbs & gutters, 5) sidewalks, 6) swales, 7) surveying, and 8) other pavement related work.
