There are no oth... 11/9/22-AMENDMENT 1: The purpose of this amendment it to add a map detailing the main area where speak systems will be required. The footages are included within the sound system map. There are no other changes attached to this amendment. Dyess AFB is looking to acquire an Airboss, Announcer, and Audio System in support of the 2023 Dyess Open House. Due to the specialized nature of the duties performed by the Air Boss, a highly trained and proficient individual must be used. The individual will perform a pre-show briefing to all participants covering air operations and performer flight safety briefings. The Air Boss will direct aircraft on the ground during the open house (airshow) while within the boundaries and waivered airspace (ATC may assist, pursuant to local arrangements). The Air Boss will also verify airspace waivered for non-air traffic control agency to take control. The Air Boss will also be briefed and signed off on base disaster response plans prior to the show.
