The 7th Logistics Readiness Squadron is requiring high line dock, a heavy dock capable of handling large cargoes to load and unload. Each high line dock shall be a free-standing, self-supporting metal frame capable of holding six wide edge leading (WEL) or five narrow edge leading (NEL) 463L pallets on a conveyor system. Each 463L pallet is 88 inches by 108 inches and shall be stored in either orientation. The stop-to-stop dimension shall be minimum 48 feet. The 463L pallet has a capacity of 10,000 pounds. The high line dock shall be used to build-up and breakdown pallet trains where multiple 463L pallets are attached together for shipment of long items. The highline docks shall also be used to store, stage, and transfer 463L pallets and pallet trains.
