Dyess AFB located in Abilene, Texas, is seeking potential sources to supply Commercial Internet Provider (CIP) support for the 7th Force Support Squadron (7 FSS) for Quality of Life (QoL)-Net. QoL-Net is commercial internet separate from Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router (NIPR) utilized on Dyess AFB. The current CIP provider is Suddenlink Communications. QoL-Net internet speeds shall not be lower than 1 Gbps download/1 Gbps upload. Potential contractors will be required to provide CIP support that will maintain a 99% reliability rating and come on site in the event of a CIP outage. CIP services will be used 24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year (24/7/365). This requirement does not include the installation of any IT infrastructure on the installation. Also, the Government already has network equipment in place to provide internet access in FSS facilities across the base.
