The 7th Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of contractors capable of providing services required by Dyess AFB, TX for Carpet and Tile services. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Any information provided in response to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Sources Sought Notice. Information provided in response to this notice will be used to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside the Air Force. The services required for a base-wide carpet and tile contract fall within North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 238330 - Flooring Contractors with a small business size standard of $15.0M. Description of Services Required: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services to perform carpet and tile work as defined in this DESCRIPTION OF WORK 1.1. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 1.2. General Requirements: The general requirements include but are not limited to the following: 1.2.1. Asbestos abatement vinyl/ rubber flooring, carpet, cove base, mastic 1.2.2. Demo vinyl flooring, cove base, mastic, mud bed, carpet, rubber, ceramic, quarry flooring and base 1.2.3. Install glue down carpet, double glue down carpet with pad, carpet tiles, ceramic tile, quarry tile, mud bed, vinyl composition tile, rubber tile, sheet vinyl flooring, sheet vinyl flooring with heat welded seams, vinyl cove base, vinyl transition strips, aluminum thresholds, vinyl thresholds, rubber stair treads. It is projected that the contract will be a firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for base-wide carpet and tile services. Specific project requirements will be identified in individual task orders. The flooring contractor will be expected to simultaneously accomplish a significant volume of task orders. Contractor Response: We request that contractors respond to this Sources Sought Notice with information in sufficient detail to support their capability to satisfy the requirements of a base-wide carpet and tile contract at Dyess AFB.
