The purpose of this requirement is to provide a new application of paint to the AST. Paint will be applied to the following sections of the AST: Exterior body of AST, (approximately 13,000 square feet), doors, to include the exterior of the crew compartment door and interior/exterior bay doors of the Forward Weapons Bay, Intermediate Weapons Bay, and Aft Weapons Bay. The contractor will make all necessary provisions to ensure only the specified surfaces get painted, i.e., taping off weapons bay junction boxes, sealing off crew compartment escape hatches, etc.
