The 7th Contracting Squadron (7 CONS) is seeking interested vendors and information on how an interested vendor could provide services to maintain and (when necessary) repair the six (6) elevators on base quarterly. The service duration is estimated at one (1) base year plus four (4) option years. 2. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Furthermore, the Government is not at this time seeking quotations and will not accept unsolicited offers. Interested vendors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to thisrequirement. 3. The information that is gathered from this RFI will be used to form a formal Request for Quotation at a later time. Responders should answer all the following questions in as much detail as possible: a. What is the protocol to properly maintain an elevator? b. Are you local to the Dyess area? c. Would your company be willing to provide a quote based on the attached draft PWS? 4. The aforementioned information along with interest and capability statements are requested to be provided no later than 3:00PM, 26 JAN 2023 via e-mail to Elizabeth Rios-Santiago at elizabeth.rios-santiago@us.af.mil. 5. The information that is received from this RFI will be used to make the best decision on how to proceed with this acquisition. All information will be kept within the 7th Contracting Squadron, and will not be shared with any other potential offerors.
